Amber is the founder of Sacred Journey Counseling Services, LLC, and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) holding a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. In her clinical practice, she specializes in working with adolescents, college students, men, women, and couples. She is EMDR-trained and offers specialized care for individuals navigating complex trauma. Amber utilizes a warm, collaborative, and client-centered approach tailored to each individual's unique pace, with a dedicated mission to guide clients toward lasting healing and personal growth. In addition to her clinical credentials, Amber brings over 20 years of active ministry experience serving in different areas of the church, as a pastor’s wife and mother of three. This extensive background provides her with a profound, firsthand understanding of both the supportive community within the Church and the deeply personal complexities of church-related hurt. She considers it a distinct privilege to walk alongside clients through their unique stories, fostering a safe space for personal transformation.
